The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Felker Army Airfield’s evolution; past to present

Since 1955, the Felker Airfield Air Traffic Control Tower at Felker Army Airfield at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. has changed drastically. Originally, the ATC tower had visibility of the entire airfield including the wheel design which could only hold up to eight aircraft at a single time. X-ray technologists put people first
