The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Armory’s vital duty: Vigilant arms

The 633d Security Forces Squadron armory personnel play a pivotal role in equipping and safeguarding the defenders responsible for protecting Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Housing nearly 2000 firearms and distributing 4000 rounds of ammunition daily, SFS personnel are required to take rigorous training in protective protocols for diverse situations to work in the armory.

U.S. Army Soldiers from the 11th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) and 128th Aviation Brigade volunteered their time to unload and hand out frozen turkeys and food kits to military families that attended the Thanksgiving turkey give-away at Fort. Eustis.

U.S. Army Col. Frankie Cochiaosue, 733d Mission Support Group commander along with the Army and Air Force Exchange Services recognized veterans visiting the Base Exchange with a free limited-edition Veteran’s Day coin in recognition of their service to the country.

Bateman library STEAMs ahead with new Innovation Lab

The Bateman Library on Joint Base Langley-Eustis has an Innovation Lab designed to help library card holders create a wide variety of products. The lab consists of a computer numerical control router, a fiber engraver, a CO2 laser engraver; and a 3d printer for people to come build with.
