The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Staying ready for any season
May 29, 2026 — During a hurricane exercise at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, personnel participated in simulated emergency response scenarios to test installation readiness and severe-weather procedures. Participants conducted Emergency Operations Center activities, evacuation support operations, medical response scenarios and family assistance functions to evaluate coordination across organizations and strengthen the installation’s ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from potential natural disasters.
