The Chesapeake Bay Foundation started Clean the Bay Day 35 years ago and it’s still going strong. As an official Clean the Bay Day partner, JBLE-Langley organizes our own cleanups and reports participation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. This year Clean the Bay Week begins on Tuesday, May 28, and continues through the official 'Clean the Bay Day', June 1.

Saturday, June 1, is in partnership with the Hampton Clean City Commission to clean up the ditches on Nettles Lane, an area that desperately needs cleaning. Since this cleanup event is off base all volunteers are welcome.
