Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Fuel facilities supplies the ‘goods’ on, off flightline
April 12, 2017 — Outfitted in white overalls, gloves, boots, earplugs and a face shield, two U.S. Air Force Airmen cautiously perform their duties while surrounded by a shroud of vapors. They are donned in gear meant to protect them from the very substance that helps to protect lives at high altitudes. The scene resembles that of a science fiction movie— moving in slow motion as the various sounds of the flightline are subconsciously replaced by the eerie sound of shallow breaths in a mask. ALSA Center helps to support multi-service warfighters
April 12, 2017 — When it comes to the support of warfighters, combat support and global sustainment operations at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, the Air, Land and Sea Application Center provides assistance through timely and relevant doctrine. The ALSA, a multi-service organization that develops multi-service tactics, techniques, and procedures across each service of the military and its operations to meet the immediate needs of the warfighter. The mission of the ALSA is to strategically establish tactical-level solutions for multi-service interoperability issues consistent with joint and service doctrine, which is governed by a Joint Actions Steering Committee comprised of senior leaders from the service doctrine centers. ...
