The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

X-ray technologists put people first
March 14, 2017 — A U.S. Air Force Airman shuffles into the emergency room gripping his thigh, which is radiating with pain, but he is told, “We don’t know what’s wrong and there’s no way we can help you.” With a furrowed brow, his eyes begin to shift from side to side rapidly. Soldiers compete during simulated combat scenarios
March 14, 2017 — U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 128th Aviation Brigade at Joint Base Langley-Eustis participated in a week-long NCO and Advanced Individual Training Platoon Sergeant of the Year Competition, March 6 through March 9, 2017. The competition was designed to test different skills that are expected of every Soldier in the U.S. Army, regardless of their rank or profession. Throughout the competition, Soldiers were tested in various ways. They completed a 12-mile road march, fitness tests, written exams and performed close-quarter combat in a simulated wartime environment, which kept competitors mentally and physically challenged. ... Chapel assistants aid spiritual resiliency
March 10, 2017 — JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. – Chaplain services throughout the Department of Defense offer spiritual care, religious services and counseling that allows service members, their families, and military civilians, to practice their constitutional right to the free exercise of religion. Military chaplains, who are religious ministry professionals, support spiritual resilience through religious observances, pastoral care, and advising leadership on spiritual, ethical, moral, morale and religious accommodation issues.
