The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Fort Eustis first responders awarded international accreditation

October 8 to 12 is Fire Prevention Week, and the Fort Eustis Fire Department is geared up to ensure the post community can beat the heat and stay safe. The department will host a series of events throughout the week to educate Soldiers and families about fire safety, such as door-to-door visits in post housing, blood pressure checks, fire extinguisher demonstrations, and a fire station open house. Hampton set to celebrate 31st annual Bay Days festival

The 31st annual Hampton Bay Days is scheduled for Sept. 6-8, 2013, in downtown Hampton, Va. The festival will include an 8k race and a one-mile ”Color the Dolphin” fun run, a performance by the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band Blue Aces Ensemble from Langley Air Force Base, a competition showcasing high-flying canine athleticism, and a fireworks show.
