Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

633rd MDG to eliminate tobacco use on Langley hospital campus

Beginning Sept. 26, 2013, the 633rd Medical Group at Langley Air Force Base, Va., will transition their entire campus to a tobacco-free zone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, roughly 443,000 people die from tobacco use every year, making it the leading preventable cause of death, disease and disability in the United States. Army launches start of 50th Anniversary Commemoration of Vietnam War

Raymond Mason, Army lead for the the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War, hosted the Pentagon's first celebration, Aug. 28, 2013, honoring those who served in Vietnam during the 10-year war, between 1965 and 1975. Suicide prevention 365-day mission, Army vice chief says
