The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

The 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Va.,  welcomed the newest member of its leadership team June 7, 2013, as Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman took the seat as the wing's command chief. Towberman, who most recently served as the superintendent of the 55th Electronic Combat Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., began his Air Force career in September 1990, and has held a variety of duties, including ground and airborne cryptologic language analyst, mission supervisor and superintendent.
