Winter Driving Tips
January 10, 2017
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, tire tread should have approximately 2/32 of an inch of remaining tread depth to reduce the risk of hydroplaning in the rain at highway speeds and losing traction in snow. Use caution; keep watch at crosswalks

The lighted pedestrian crosswalk on Nealy Avenue, between the U.S. Air Force Hospital Langley and 633rd Medical Group Dental Clinic, was installed due to high volume vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., in 2016.
