Air Force Unveils New Airpower Ad in Theaters

The U.S. Air Force plans to unveil their latest commercial titled “Own the Sky” in theaters during moviegoers’ long-awaited release of Top Gun: Maverick. The heart-pounding, adrenaline inducing ad gives the audience a sense of what it might feel like to be on the receiving end of the Air Force’s might and accentuates the importance of airpower in America’s security.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — To help celebrate the Air Force’s 75th anniversary, Airpower fans can catch a behind-the-scenes look at a first-of-its-kind flyover as the service’s Heritage Flight prepares to soar above the skies of So-Fi Stadium during the national anthem performance at Super Bowl LVI, Feb. 13. Beginning at 6 p.m. ET on the U.S. Air Force Facebook page, Dan Hawkins and Master Sgt. Caitlin Jones Martin will host the special pre-game show, featuring live look-ins from California, including the actual flyover, interviews and more.

USAF approves beddown of F-22 FTU at JBLE

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. — The Air Force has signed the Record of Decision approving Joint Base Langley-Eustis as the future home for the F-22 Formal Training Unit. The Air Force is awaiting the completion of the tactical air study before solidifying timelines for planned force structure moves.
