The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

JTF-CS conducts Early Entry Command Post exercise

Members of Joint Task Force Civil Support set up Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelters during an Early Entry Command Post deployment exercise at Fort Eustis, Va., May 8, 2014. DRASH is a portable shelter that can be set up within minutes of arriving on-site with no special tools. JTF-CS is preparing for Sudden Response 2014, which will test the unit's movement of equipment and personnel during the initial phases of a simulated man-made or natural disaster. JTF-CS anticipates, plans and prepares for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense support to civil authorities response operations. Langley logistics Airman helps save Air Force assets

Staff Sgt. Marcin Vande Hei, 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Central Command Materiel Recovery Element non-commissioned officer-in-charge identifies a piece of equipment May 2, 2014 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. As part of a CMRE team, Vande Hei is responsible for identifying, storing and redeploying assets to the U.S. or disposing of items located throughout the region. The CMRE team has helped recover more than 60 pieces of equipment worth about $1.66 million within the last eight months.
