The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Delivering care to deployed chaplains
October 23, 2007
Master Sgt. Michael O’Donnell, 1st Fighter Wing Chapel superintendent, and Joanna McCormack, Catholic coordinator, take inventory of donations at the Bethel Manor Chapel Oct. 17. The items, which were donated by dorm residents, the Catholic and Protestant parishes and local Airmen, will be used will be shipped to deployed Air Force chaplains in Balad and Afghanistan. Let the weapon loading begin

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Tech. Sgts. Thomas Harper, David Martens and Steve Breeden load an AIM-9 missile on station 3 of an F-22A during the weapons load competition at the 94th Fighter Squadron Oct. 17.  This particular crew is from the Air National Guard's 192nd Fighter Wing, working out of the 94th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. The 27th and 71st AMUs  will perform similar competitions and earn points based on the fastest and safest crew. After each crew loads their weapons, scores are tallied and a winning crew will be announced. LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Staff Sgt Bruce Richey,480 Intelligence Wing noncommissioned officer in charge of weapons and tactics, watches as Lt. Col. Claudia Sands, 1st Medical Operations Squadron chief of podiatry, applies arch supports to his shoes during a “Treat Your Feet”class at the Langley Health and Wellness Center Oct. 12. The first class, which was held for active-duty members, educated people on how to avoid medical problems that may be caused by running or improper shoe wear. A class for family members and retirees and is scheduled for Oct. 19 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the HAWC. For more information, or to register, call the HAWC at 764-6321. 192nd FW activates at Langley
October 15, 2007
Maj. Gen. Robert B. Newman Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, hands the 192nd Fighter Wing guideon to Col. Jay M. Pearsall, 192nd Fighter Wing commander, during the 192nd’s unit activation ceremony at the 27th Fighter Squadron Oct. 13.
