TMCs focus on Soldier medical readiness

The staff at McDonald Army Health Center’s Troop Medical Services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Va. divide active duty Soldiers into three separate demographics in order to provide medical care to U.S. Army Soldiers quickly and effectively, improving the readiness of service members across installations. By splitting the demographics into different clinics, medical personnel can pay closer attention to Soldier care, focusing on readiness, length of duty-limiting profiles, military exams, immunizations and periodic health assessments. Renowned Triple Ace leaves historic legacy

U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert Olds is rated a triple ace, having shot down more than 15 enemy aircraft during World War II and the Vietnam War. Days of Remembrance: Lessons learned from the Holocaust

Kitty Saks, a Holocaust survivor who also lost 27 family members, was placed into a Catholic convent, at age nine, under an assumed name, Rosette Nizolle, for her safety and became a hidden child of the Holocaust. This year’s theme for the Holocaust Days of Remembrance commemoration is “Learning from the Holocaust: The Strength of the Human Spirit” and will be held April 23 through April 30, 2017.
