The 633rd Civil Engineer Squadron and Fort Eustis Fire Emergency Services hosted National Fire Prevention Week at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Oct. 7-13, 2018.
National Fire Prevention Week is an annual observance to promote maximum participation in fire and life safety education. In a committed effort to keeping the JBLE community prepared and knowledgeable, the Fire Emergency Service flights focused on raising fire safety and prevention awareness. This year’s theme was “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere."
The 633rd CES and Fort Eustis’ FES held events throughout the week including relay race-style challenge, an open house, a static display table and a visit with the NASA Langley Child Development Center pre-k class.
