CFFC 80 fights for the troops

Fort Eustis Morale, Welfare and Recreation leaders partnered with Cage Fury Fighting Champion representatives to host the CFFC 80 “Fight for Troops” event at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 22, 2019. JBLE community and U.S. Army advanced individual training Soldiers attended the event, which included four preliminary mixed martial arts fights and six main card MMA fights.

Cage Fury Fighting Championship representatives, including CFFC president Robert Haydak, toured Fort Eustis’ Third Port, the 128th Aviation Brigade schoolhouse and the CH-47 Chinook helicopter hangars at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 21, 2019. The mixed martial arts promotion company hosted the CFFC event for the JBLE community, which featured four preliminary fights and six main card fights.

Trick-or-treaters celebrate the spooky season

Service members and their families attended the 10th annual Night at the Transportation Museum Halloween event and the Fall Fest at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Children dressed in costumes trick-or-treated, toured the museum’s live exhibits, walked through a haunted hangar and a Chinook helicopter, played games and made crafts.

Eustis runs for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Fort Eustis Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers club hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness 5K run at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 4, 2019. The month of October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in an effort to increase awareness and raise funds for research to battle the disease.
