A4L program develops newest Airmen

The Airmen For Life Program is an initiative open to the 94th FGS’ First Term Airmen that emphasizes the overall well-being of Airmen by deliberately developing them both personally and professionally.

Smishing: a threat to JBLE personnel

The cellphone in your pocket ‘dings’, notifying you of a text message. The message states the U.S. Postal Service is holding a package for you and won’t release it until you’ve confirmed delivery details. The text message also has a shortened URL for you to tap to provide the requested information. Providing those details is exactly what the sender wants, as their goal is to compromise your personal and/or financial information through a tactic called ‘smishing’.

1st FW accelerates Airmen through MCA

“MCA is designed to train Airmen in varying career fields, on recovering, relaunching, refueling and reloading aircraft in contingency locations in the shortest amount of time possible with no outside support,” said Huffman. “Currently, we have 20 Airmen, each with different maintenance backgrounds, such as aerospace ground equipment, weapons, ammo, low observable and more, participating in the program.”
