Khymchenko recently deployed to the United States European command, where he played a pivotal role working with senior leaders, as a translator. Khymchenko His experience and contributions led him to be named as one of the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year and inspired him to pursue becoming an an officer as he continues to serve in the U.S. Air Force.
