JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) is proud to announce the Third Annual Winter Crossbow Games, a premier installation event celebrating teamwork, readiness, and competitive spirit. This year, units from across the installation will compete for the coveted Commander’s Cup, as the 633d Air Base Wing (ABW) Wing Staff Agencies look to defend their title. Media are invited to experience the excitement as JBLE squadrons compete in a series of thrilling athletic challenges.
This bi-annual competition brings service members together for a day of healthy competition and camaraderie. Witness strength, speed, and strategy as teams go head-to-head in events including, but not limited to basketball, indoor triathlon, volleyball, pickleball and heavy lifting.

- Col. Stephen Anderson, JBLE installation commander
- Tony Arroyo, 633 Air Base Wing fitness and sports director
- Participating JBLE service members, civilians, and spectators (upon request/approval)
When: Friday, January 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Media are requested to arrive at the Langley AFB Visitor Control Center no later than 8:00 a.m. for credentialing and escorting onto the installation.
Where: Events will be held at the Shellbank Fitness Center and ACC Fitness Center. Media will be greeted at the Langley AFB Visitor Control Center – 11 Nealy Ave, Hampton, VA 23665 – and escorted by a Public Affairs representative.
