The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

497 ISR Group welcomes new commander

Lt. Col. Patrick M. Shortsleeve (right) accepts the guidon from Col. Paul Nelson, 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing commander, as he assumes command of the the 497 ISR Group during a change of command ceremony June 24 at the Bayview Commonwealth Center. Colonel Shortsleeve will command more than 800 personnel across four squadrons in a Total Force Integration environment, including two active-duty squadrons, one Air National Guard and one Reserve squadron. Veteran honored during flag ceremony
