The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Junior enlisted appreciated at Langley

Cheered by onlookers, Staff Sgt Maura Johnson, 1st Maintenance Operations Squadron maintenance training instructor, battles it out with Airman 1st Class Brittany Blake, 633rd Medical Operations Squadron aerospace medical technician, in the balloon stomping game, a fun competition held during Junior Enlisted Appreciation Day at Langley Air Force Base, Va., July 15, 2011. Thirty people tied balloons to their ankles and tried desperately to pop one another’s balloons for a prize. Sergeant Johnson and Airman Blake were the final contenders, with Airman Blake eventually triumphing.
