The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

WTU Soldiers among those 'gathering' with golf's greatest

Soldiers from the Ft. Eustis' Warrior Transition Unit met professional golf greats Tom Watson (center) and Tiger Woods (second from right) at the Greenbrier Golf Tournament in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., July 4, 2012. The Soldiers visited the Greenbrier Classic Tournament as part of leisure trip provided by the "Gathering of Mountain Eagles," a non-profit organization which sponsors two trips annually for WTU personnel, as well as Service members receiving care at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, Ft. Belvoir, Va., Ft. Bragg, N.C., and other area installations. The trips, which often include skiing, white water rafting, and entertainment, are provided free of charge to Soldiers.
