The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

The Star-Spangled Banner – the song deserves respect

According to U.S. Air Force instructions and Army regulations, when “The Star-Spangled Banner” is played, military members in uniform must render a hand salute if outdoors, and stand at attention if indoors. All civilians, as well as Service members who are present but not in uniform, should remove any headgear, and place their right hand over their heart.
