The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Tight budget may force involuntary separations
March 31, 2014
The involuntary separation of Soldiers from the force may be necessary as the U.S. Army draws down in strength over the next few years, the service's vice chief of staff told members of Congress March 26, 2014. U.S. Army Gen. John F. Campbell said bringing the force down to 490,000 will probably require about 5,000 involuntary separations over the next three years, while bringing the end strength down to 450,000 Soldiers by 2019 will be even tougher. New BRAC round would save money, increase Army readiness
