The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

JTF-CS conducts vision recognition training

Nick Steele, operations officer, 5-159th General Support Aviation Battalion, 244th Aviation Brigade prepares for takeoff for a vision recognition training flight out Felker Army Airfield at Fort Eustis, Va., July 8, 2014. A vision recognition training flight is a flight where the pilot uses landmarks, roads and waterways to navigate the helicopter. The 5-159th GSAB is a part of Task Force Aviation, a component of Joint Task Force Civil Support. Task Force Aviation is the only aviation brigade in the Army Reserves. Their mission is to provide command and control of aviation assets to support JTF-CS.
