The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Troop Training Project: JBLE Airmen to place F-15 on display

JBLE women reflect on women's equality

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Felicia Singleton is an F-15 stock control journeyman assigned to the 438th Supply Chain Operations Squadron at Langley Air Force Base, Va. The Savannah, Ga., native supplies parts for F-15 Eagles to bases across the globe. Singleton said she joined the Air Force because she “always looked up to the military,” calling military service honorable, and saying that she wants “to give back to a such a great country that’s given us so many opportunities.” Singleton is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in chemistry, and aspires to eventually complete medical school and work as a surgeon. She said seeing the military open more opportunities to women is encouraging, and maintained “women can do anything they set their minds to,” overcoming personal obstacles and breaking down barriers set for them by society. Army taking steps to improve its CSM, SGM key-billet talent-management efforts
