The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Tactics, dog fights and dissimilar training with the 64th Aggressors

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Airman 1 Class John Schommer, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, marshals in an F-16 fighter after a training exercise held here Sept. 17. Members of the 57th AMXS provided maintenance for the 64th Aggressor Squadron. The 64th AGRS was here to provide dissimilar aircraft training to Langley pilots. All-Dental Readiness Training Exercise

Capt. Heather Tellez, 1st Dental Squadron dentist, and Staff Sgt. Julian Moore, 2nd Dental Squadron dental assistant from Barksdale Air Force Base, La. take care of a patient while deployed to Zacatecoluca, El Salvador with first-ever All Dental Readiness Training Exercise team. DENTRETE is the first humanitarian mission of its kind, and personnel deploy with modern equipment and supplies to provide a full spectrum of dental care. For the duration of the mission the dental team provides care to include dental restorations (fillings), endodontics (root canals), extractions and dental prophylaxis (dental cleanings). The staging area for the treatment was out of Destacamento Militario number nine in Zacatecoluca, El Salvador Sept. 8-18.
