JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. - Jose Mejia, Aviation Development Directorate photographer, is displayed on an imaging monitor in the OH-58D “Kiowa Warrior” before its final flight at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Sept. 18, 2017. The Kiowa Warrior has been used by the U.S. Army since the 1980s as an armed reconnaissance helicopter during operations including Just Cause, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
