Eustis continues steps toward energy efficiency

Since 2008, personnel at Fort Eustis, Va., have helped reduce the base’s annual energy costs by $1.3 million by undertaking several energy saving contracts. Projects such as new lighting, lighting controls, insulation, heating and air conditioning units, solar tracking skylights and solar hot water heating helped contribute to those savings.
