Fort Eustis ceremony honors volunteers' hard work, dedication

Representatives from the General Mills Box Tops for Education program present a check to General Stanford elementary school during the Volunteer of the Quarter ceremony hosted by U.S. Army Col. Eustis holds quarterly blood drive

Langley emergency room due to move

The U.S. Air Force Hospital Langley emergency room is scheduled to move to a new location, Feb. 27, while still maintaining full operating status. The ER will relocate near the newly-remodeled pharmacy, which offers a larger space able to accommodate 17 beds and provide patients the best quality service possible. New AC-130J completes first test flight

Dave King, of Lockheed Martin, marshals out the AC-130J Ghostrider as it taxis the runway for its first official sortie Jan. 31 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The Air Force Special Operations Command MC-130J arrived at Eglin in January 2013 to begin the modification process for the AC-130J, whose primary mission is close air support, air interdiction and armed reconnaissance.
