LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Lt. Col. Robert Sandford, 192d Fighter Wing chief of standardization and evaluation, taxis in an F-22 Raptor after surpassing 4,000 flight hours May 17. LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Fire damage is visible in one of three properties involved in a April 18 fire at the Landings at Langley at Bethel Manor base housing complex. Immediately following the fire, residents, fellow Airmen and local organizations provided food, shelter, household goods and daycare to displaced families, who were relocated to newly-constructed housing within 48 hours.
