The Department of Energy leads a national campaign promoting energy and water conservation awareness during the month of October. Airmen at Langley Air Force Base, Va., are challenged to take action by reducing demand, increasing supply and making culture changes every day, on and off duty. Airmen can take action by replacing incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs, which can save more than $57 over the life of one CFL bulb.
