JBLE Airman earns first in Air Force Marathon overall military female category

Runners leave the gate officially starting the 2012 Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.  With 15,000 runners, this Marathon was the largest and quickest to sell out.

October 8 to 12 is Fire Prevention Week, and the Fort Eustis Fire Department is geared up to ensure the post community can beat the heat and stay safe. The department will host a series of events throughout the week to educate Soldiers and families about fire safety, such as door-to-door visits in post housing, blood pressure checks, fire extinguisher demonstrations, and a fire station open house.
