Unaccompanied Personnel

The UPH office is located in room 113 of the Soldier Support Center. Single Permanent Party Soldiers E1-E5 arriving after hours please report to the EOC in Building 825 Monroe Ave for guidance. 757-878-1834. Unaccompanied (Single) Soldiers and “Dual Military” E1-E5 (without dependents and when spouse is assigned more than 50 miles from Fort Eustis), are required to reside in the barracks while assigned to Fort Eustis.

Military Housing Options

For ON post housing in the Fort Eustis area, you have three local options. The military housing at the local bases are privatized, and with few exceptions (a few older housing units), the cost equals the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) authorized each month. That payment normally includes rent and all utilities (except cable or internet).

Rental Partnership Program

Our office has agreements with over 50 apartment complexes in the local JBLE area. Through the Rental Partnership Program (RPP), active duty military receive a special military rate and do not have to pay a security deposit or application fee. We usually recommend that you physically view 3 or 4 apartment complexes during the day and evening BEFORE you commit to any apartment. This program applies to permanent party only. When getting ready to PCS, you can make reservations at the General Smalls Inn on JBLE-Eustis or the Langley Inn on JBLE-Langley for the first 3 to 7 nights.
