CHIEF MASTER SGT. MARIBETH O. FERRER

Chief Master Sergeant Maribeth O. Ferrer is the Command Chief, 633d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. She is the primary advisor to the Commander for all matters pertaining to training, operations, maintenance, and force development for more than 18,000 Air Force and Army personnel. The 633d Air Base Wing provides installation support to more than 100,000 military, civilians, retirees, and family members. The wing’s two Mission Support Groups and Medical Group ensure base support for a multitude of units to include Air Combat Command, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, four operational wings, eight Army brigades, and 47 major associate units.

 

Chief Ferrer entered the Air Force in June 1996. She graduated from the Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, in November 1996. Her background covers a wide-range of duties in both small and large military treatment facilities. Chief Ferrer has served in various leadership roles in many distinct installations like the Air Force Academy, an Air Force Sustainment Center, the Air Force's most forward-deployed wing and even a medical wing. Her assignments include bases in California, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Italy and Republic of Korea. Her deployment experience include tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and United Arab Emirates in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and RESOLUTE SUPPORT. Prior to assuming her current position, Chief Ferrer was the command chief of the 39th Air Base Wing, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
