Three top-10 athletes from the Ultimate Fighting Championship and three Mixed Martial Arts celebrities will visit Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia on Dec. 8-10, 2016.  The group will visit the Langley Lanes at Langley Air Force Base, Va. Dec. 10, 2016 for a free viewing party, where service members and their families will be able to watch UFC 206 alongside the athletes and celebrities.

The visiting UFC fighters are Valentina Shevchenko, Ben Rothwell and Lorenz Larkin.

Shevchenko is the number 2 ranked bantamweight in the world, behind Ronda Rousey, and won the fight against Holly Holm, the only woman to ever defeat Rousey.

Rothwell is the number five heavyweight in the world whose last fight was a headline tilt against former UFC Champion, Junior Dos Santos.

Larkin, the number 7 welterweight in the world, is also the only person to beat former UFC Champion Robbie Lawler in a non-title bout in the last four years. Larkin’s last fight was a first round stoppage win against Neil Magny.

Joining them are MMA celebrities Jacob “Stitch” Duran, “Gorgeous” George Garcia and Brian “Goze” Garcia.

Duran, who has worked the top boxing and mixed martial arts contests in the world is also an U.S. Air Force veteran.

“There is no greater honor for us than when we get to meet the heroes that defend our freedom every day,” Garcia said.  “I can speak for the athletes and Stitch when I say that we intend to shake every hand, talk to and hang out with every person that comes out to the event(s). We all have such immense respect for service members and their families.”

Langley Lanes will open at 7 p.m. and seating will be on a first come, first-served availability.
