Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

FORT EUSTIS, Va. -- Gwyn Giacomo, a graphic designer at Fort Eustis Enterprise Multimedia Center, is the designer of the new Joint Base Langley-Eustis logo. Giacomo is also the creator of the 733d Mission Support Group patch adopted this year following activation of the unit in the first step toward joint basing under the Base Realignment and Closure decision in 2005. LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Lt. Col. Robert Sandford, 192d Fighter Wing chief of standardization and evaluation, taxis in an F-22 Raptor after surpassing 4,000 flight hours May 17. LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- 2nd Lt. David Earl, 633d Contracting Squadron contract specialist, begins a prism sports obstacle course with a low crawl May 21. Prism Sports is a high intensity workout designed to develop an athlete’s power, movement biomechanics, and strength while also reducing the likelihood of non-contact injury by teaching correct exercise technique, increasing lean body mass, gaining strength and flexibility, correcting postural deviations, and developing the body’s metabolic energy system.
