The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

JBLE to host second annual Armed Forces Motorcycle Ride and Rodeo

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Head protection must include a helmet that meets or exceeds standards set by the Department of Transportation, as well as goggles, wrap-around glasses, or a full-face shield attached to a helmet.  The 1st Fighter Wing Safety Office reminds riders to adhere to the garment requirements set in AFI 91-207, The U.S. Air Force Traffic Safety Program, which require the wear of protective gear, a brightly colored outer garment during the day and a reflective upper garment during the night.
