Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Airmen and Soldiers depart Langley Transit Center

U.S. Air Force Airmen and U.S. Army Soldiers depart the Langley Transit Center at Langley Air Force Base, Va., April 1, 2015. The group underwent a 21-day controlled monitoring period in compliance with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction 4220.01, which requires all Department of Defense personnel to remain in a controlled monitoring areas upon returning from a deployment to, transitioning through, or having been stationed in the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak area in West Africa as declared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or exposed to EVD asymptomatic or symptomatic persons within the continental United States.
