The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Laid to rest: Fighter pilot remains found 72 years later

The remains of U.S. Army Air Corps 1st Lt. Robert L. McIntosh were recently found after more than 72 years after his disappearance and were laid to rest in his hometown of Tipton, Indiana, Aug. 13, 2016. In 1944, the 27th Fighter Squadron P-38 Lightning pilot departed Foggia Airfield, Italy, on a strafing mission and never returned.

First Sergeants get down to business
