The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Army, AF offer COOL education benefits to service members

The program was established to enhance service members’ current work performance and their likelihood of civilian employment after they leave the service. Service members use DUI prevention programs

To avoid driving under the influence, members of Joint Base Langley-Eustis take advantage of programs and training provided by the 733rd Security Forces Squadron and other installation services. To get a safe ride home when under the influence call the Drunk Driving Prevention Program at (757) 847-9780, or Soldiers and Airmen Against Drunk Driving at (757) 764-2233. DDPP operates Friday and Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and drives the requestor’s vehicle.
