The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Explosive Collaboration: EOD and NASA partner in Drone Exercise
April 30, 2024 — U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Amanda Hungness, 633d Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordinance disposal technician, takes steps to eliminate a downed drone during an exercise at NASA Langley Research Center, Virginia, April 25, 2024. We joke within the career field that PA stands for “practically anything” because of the diversity in our mission and how we never know what new idea we will get looped into.
