The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Message from JBLE installation commander
March 26, 2020 — It is my deepest regret to inform you that a JBLE Army family member died from presumptive complications related to COVID-19 at a hospital in Newport News. The spouse of the deceased, a Soldier assigned to Fort Eustis, also previously tested positive for COVID-19, and remains in isolation while continuing to receive medical care. JBLE announces confirmed positive COVID-19 case
March 19, 2020 — Joint Base Langley-Eustis is currently monitoring one positive case of COVID-19, a medical provider assigned to McDonald Army Health Center at Fort Eustis, who recently returned from travel out of the country. To limit exposure to others, the individual followed all precautions, self-isolated and sought out medical attention.
