The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

Cooking at the commissary

Senior Airman Shefthon Curtis , 1st Services Squadron chef, prepares ham potato bites and chicken stir fry during a cooking show at the commissary July 20. The cooking shows are held in the Langley Commissary meat department every other week in hopes of sharing easy recipes made from ingredients found at the commissary. Barbecue at the Harbor-Q

The Harbor-Q, Langley's marina cafe, is now open for lunch Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Boats will begin to populate the base marina within several weeks after the parking area is paved and painted.
