The Media Operations section works to coordinate all media interviews, media queries and media access to Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Media members visiting JBLE must be escorted by a Public Affairs representative at all times. Military members and civilian workers contacted by news media should liaise with the Public Affairs Office Media Operations section.

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Jason Smithson, son of Tech. Sgt. Jason Smithson, 1st Equipment Maintenance Squadron, presents cards to Gov. Tim Kaine during his visit to the Russ Child Development Center Feb. 20. Jason is one of 18 Langley children who are part of Gov. Kaine’s Start Strong Initiative, which teams Virginia communities with private, faith-based, home-based and military providers in an effort to provide quality education experiences for 4-year-olds.
