- All entries are considered property of the United States government and can no longer be used or claimed without the consent of the Department of Defense. The 633rd Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, issuing the contest, reserves the rights to choose and edit submitted work to adhere to the Department of Defense standards and procedures regarding representation of DoD organizations. By participating in this contest, the individual understands that the 633rd ABW/PA office and the DoD reserve the right to record, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, print, and/or publish the submitted works in whole or part to be used in photographs, videos, print, radio, television, internet or any other media for advertisement. Submission of completed works by the artist is an understanding that they are doing so of their own volition without the right to compensation.
Who can participate in the Air Show logo Contest?
The competition is open to everyone. Any individuals under 18 will require a signed release form by a parent or legal guardian. The form can be downloaded here:

What size should the final logo be?
Upon selection, JBLE will contact the artist of the winning graphic for native files capable of meeting a minimum resolution scale of 1920x1080 (300 Pixels Per Inch).
Where do I send my entry to?
2020 Air Show Logo contest entries should be sent to the JBLE Facebook page using Facebook messenger. Or to the 633rd Public Affairs organization e-mail box at: email@example.com .Contestants should save their files using the naming convention outlined in the contest rules section.
When is the deadline of the contest?
The final deadline for the competition is Mar. 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, all entries received after that time/date will be disqualified.
How old do contributors need to be to submit?
All ages capable of meeting the set requirements are welcome to participate. Parents or guardians must provide a signed talent release form for participants under the age of 18.
How will the logo submission be used?
Once an entry is selected, the logo will be used with the 2020 Airpower over Hampton Roads website, social media, print, video products for promotional use.
Can I copyright the logo after I submit it?
No, all submissions including the design selected will be considered property of the United States government and can no longer be used or claimed without the consent of the Department of Defense. Contestants will sign the general talent release form to acknowledge and abide by the rules and terms.
Can I use the United States Air Force or Army logos in my design?
No, usage of the Air Force Insignia, Army Insignia, “Joint Base Langley-Eustis” name, or any unit patches/badges are NOT permitted. Furthermore, use of ANY previously copy written or trademarked images, graphics or files is prohibited.
Can I submit more than one graphic?
You are welcome to submit as many graphics as you would like within the start date and deadline. Please make sure all of your submissions meet the specified criteria to ensure proper judging.
