JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –

The 633rd Security Forces Squadron hosted National Police Week at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, from May 14-16, 2018.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726, designating May 15 as Peace Officers' Memorial Day, and the week in which May 15 falls as National Police Week. Police Week memorializes law enforcement officers who laid-down their lives in service to the nation.

Members of the 633rd SFS hosted various events, including an opening ceremony, Defenders Challenge and Military Working Dog demonstration to pay their respects to their fallen brothers and sisters.
