JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — The 633rd Security Forces Squadron hosted National Police Week at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, from May 14-16, 2018.

Making SFS, Hampton PD ready to serve

Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. — In their mission to ensure the safety of the installation and local community, the 633rd Security Forces Squadron and the Hampton Police Department have joined forces to optimize training and support. “We wanted to open up our resources to the Langley (633rd SFS) personnel”, said Lt. Scott Keller, Hampton Police Department academy director. “We also wanted to use assets that the military has available to them, like the weapons range they shoot at.”

National Police Week: Defenders remember fallen

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — The 633rd Security Forces Squadron hosted a National Police Week opening ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, May 15, 2017. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726, designating May 15 as Peace Officers' Memorial Day, and the week in which May 15 falls as National Police Week. Police Week memorializes law enforcement officers who laid-down their lives in service to the nation. In addition to the opening ceremony, 633rd SFS members will host various events, including a Defenders Challenge and Security Forces Demonstration to pay their respects to their fallen brothers and sisters.
