Range offers vast array of considerations

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – An aerial view of the newest urban complex target on Dare County Bombing Range, Outer Banks, N.C., was completed two weeks ago.  The range encompasses a total area of 46,621 acres and contains two separate and independent weapon impact areas.  The range’s mission is to meet the F-15E training requirements of not only the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., but also the Navy and Marine Corps.
