Tobacco cessation program helps kick habit

The Army Community Service and Airman and Family Readiness Center at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., provide classes and one-on-one financial education to assist U.S. service members and their families save money and pay off debt. Financial counselors recommend members create an emergency fund, set a goal for their finances and create a budget based on previous spending habits and the financial goals they wish to achieve. Airman finds hope on the court

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Greg Wilson, 633rd Communication Squadron cyber security technician, was a member of the All Air Force team during the tournament at the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Nov. 2016. After more than two years of being stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Wilson was selected for the team, he was sent to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, where he prepared for the competition by practicing with four different semi-professional basketball teams. Winter Driving Tips

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, tire tread should have approximately 2/32 of an inch of remaining tread depth to reduce the risk of hydroplaning in the rain at highway speeds and losing traction in snow.
