Col. Steven P. Dillenburger

Col Steven P. Dillenburger is the Deputy Commander of the 633d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He received his commission in May 2002 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Notre Dame. Before his current position, he served as the Air Education and Training Command Director of Analysis and Assessments and the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa Deputy Chief of Analyses, Assessments, and Lessons Learned. He previously commanded the Air Education and Training Command Studies and Analysis Squadron and has served as the Senior Executive Officer for Studies, Analyses and Assessments at Headquarters United States Air Force. While on the Air Staff, he was an operations analyst in the Integrated Warfare Division and instructed initial skills training for the operations analyst (15A) career field at the Army Logistics University. He deployed as campaign assessments branch chief in support of Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and as an analyst to the Combined Air Operations Center at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Prior to earning his doctorate in operations research from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2012, Colonel Dillenburger served as a test analyst at the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center headquarters and as a research engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory.
